Guided Maine moose hunt


Come on a hunt for Maine's largest and most prestigious animal. The moose is the largest member of the deer family, standing up to seven feet tall, with dark brown fur and a shoulder hump. Female moose, which are called cows, average 836 pounds at 3.5 years old or older. Male moose, called bulls, average 1,106 pounds at their prime age of 5.5 years or older. The largest bull ever harvested in Maine had a dressed weight of 1,330 pounds which means it would have weighed approximately 1,767 pounds! ~Maine Inland fisheries and Wildlife~

Fully guided moose hunt
Fully guided six-day hunt starting at $3,500. A guide will be with the permittee and sub permittee while hunting. If a moose is harvested, guides will assist in recovery and transporting to the tagging station and butcher. Lunch is provided.
